Diego Godoy-Rivera
About Me I am a 'Juan de la Cierva' research fellow at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) in Tenerife, Spain. I previously held a postdoctoral research position working with Dr. Savita Mathur in the 'Stellar and Solar Seismology and Search for Exoplanet' group at IAC. I obtained my PhD at the Ohio State University (OSU) working with professor Marc Pinsonneault. During my first couple of years at OSU I worked with professor Kris Stanek in the ASAS-SN survey. I did my undergrad at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where I worked with professor Julio Chanamé. I was born in Chile's capital, Santiago, and grew up in La Serena, a beautiful city about 500 km north of Santiago. Outside of academia, my biggest passion is to watch and play tennis! |
