About Me

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) in Tenerife, Spain, working in the "Stellar and Solar Seismology and Search for Exoplanet" group with Dr. Savita Mathur. Previously, I was a "Juan de la Cierva" research fellow, and before that I held a postdoctoral researcher position, both at the IAC.

I obtained my PhD at the Ohio State University (OSU) working with
professor Marc Pinsonneault. During my first couple of years at OSU I worked with professor Kris Stanek in the ASAS-SN survey. I did my undergrad at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where I worked with professor Julio Chanamé.

I was born in Chile's capital, Santiago, and grew up in La Serena, a beautiful city about 500 km north of Santiago. Outside of academia, my biggest passion is to watch and play tennis!
